Willpattu National Park is one of the largest Parks in Sri Lanka. Famous for Leopard spotting. Elephant, Bear, Deer, Wild Boar are commonly seen. Many Bird Species can be spotted while the safari. Located 185Km away from Colombo towards the North East side.

Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest National Parks in Sri Lanka. Yala is home to Sri Lankan Elephants and Leopards mainly and there are other mammals which could be spotted at park. Yala is a sanctuary for many birds and Block 02 is especially famous for bird watching.
The faunal species recorded in the park include 44 species of mammals, 47 species of reptiles(06 are endemic), 21 species of fish,18 amphibians and 215 species of birds

Famous Elephant Watching are in Sri Lanka is Udawalawa National Park which locate in between Sabaragamuwa and Uwa Province Sri Lanka. This is the most visited third park in the country and is famous for Water Birds too.

Minneriya National park located in North Central Province in Sri Lanka. This has been declared as a National park in 1997 to protect the catchment of Minneriya Tank and the Wildlife of surrounding area This area is famous for Elephants and is important habitat for the two endemic monkeys of Sri Lanka. Also large water birds can be spotted near the tank.

Kaudulla National Park Located 197 km away from Colombo City. Historically Kaudulla was one of the 16 irrigation tank built by king Mahasen.The faunal species recorded in the park include 24 species of mammals, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 160 species of bird

Whales watching is a famous activity in Sri Lanka which is happening in Southern Coastal Area. These dolphins were mainly found in an area that ran north-south parallel to the Kalpitiya peninsula, in-shore off the reef, which is commonly known as the ‘Dolphin Line’.
